Dear participants,

Please find below some information regarding the venue and the lunches at École polytechnique.

The workshop will take place at the LLR conference room inside the lab area, which is under controlled access. A reception desk will be installed at the point marked by the red cross on the campus map under ‘Venue’ on the web site. You will get to this point by the 'cour Ferrié’, the green area with the dark green rectangle just on the right on the map. People from LLR will open you here and will accompany you either to the LLR conference room (if it is before 12.30 or after 13.30) or to the lunch room (if it is between 12.30 and 13.30).

The reception desk is the preferred option. In case you need assistance do not hesitate to call either the LLR secretariat or myself at one of the numbers below:

The lunches will take place at a prebooked room of the Ecole polytechnique cafeteria, so called ‘Club magnan’. For lunches (and also for breakfast and dinners for those at the campus guest house) you will need to buy tickets at the central cashier of the cafeteria. At your arrival we will first accompany you to this central cashier so that you can buy all the needed tickets.

For the lunches at Club magnan, the only way of payment is cash at the central cashier. For those at the guest house, tickets for the breakfasts and the dinners can also be taken by credit card at the machine just near the central cashier, the breakfast cost 3.30 EUR and the dinner 11.50 EUR. The central cashier is only opened from 11.30 am to 2pm.

 

The opening hours of the cafeteria are:
- breakfast: 7.30am-8.30am
- dinner: 5.30pm-7pm

A dinner is foreseen in Paris on thursday evening at the brasserie ‘Au metro’, close to metro station Pernety. More details will be given later.
