The Social Affairs Service is organizing a welcome event for newcomers, as well as their spouses/partners and family members who have recently arrived in the area.
This event gives you the opportunity to meet representatives of CERN internal services such as the CERN Health Insurance Scheme (CHIS), the Social Affairs Service, the Installation Service, the Staff Association with its clubs and its Creche and School. Moreover, three outside networks are present, the Groupement Transfrontalier Européen (GTE), the Centre Accueil Genève Internationale (CAGI) and the International Dual Career Network (IDCN). After a short introduction, these services respond to any queries you may have regarding subjects such as housing, social activities, schools, health insurance, language courses, employment in Switzerland, etc.
This is also a good opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with the other newcomers.
