================================================== Ana Gaspar + Actions done and in progress - Finished the installation of the externals on Snow Leopard Machine -XercesC needs to be upgraded to version 3.x The scripts must be changed to allow this installation. Geant4 needs a new version to run their nightlies on the mac 10.6 - Sorted the build log files by task number -GAUDI and GAUDIATLAS are still showing the command in one line - Changed how qmtest is called for CORAL -Meeting with Marc Magrans to decide how CMS will adopt our nightlies system -Submitted paper for the VIDAS10 conference. -Installing the upgraded externals on all the platforms (Those that needed to be upgraded in order to fully install them on the Snow Leopard Machine) -Added Synchronize.py to the nightlies, only for windows, to keep synchronized all the externals on the windows machines + Next actions - Start the nightlies on the Snow Leopard Machine - Find out why the release slot failed with the new nightlies - Increase MySQL debug information - Save the old nightlies in the repository and keep the the new nightlies version on AFS, only one version - Finish the installation of the upgraded external on the rest of platforms + Problems - Qt 4.6.0 on Linux machines is failing because of the ALSA module ================================================== Yves Perrin + Actions done and progress - Savannah  . approved new projects, helped users with login/password  . replaced AFS authentication by CERN SSO authentication  . investigating why selinux issues error msgs on new server + Next actions  . complete migration of Savannah to new SLC5 server  . complete mail gateway to post comments to savannah  . help producing a new Drupal based SFT website  . work with Stefan on Savannah support ================================================== Bertrand Bellenot + Actions done - Released ROOT v5.26.00a and ROOT v5.22.00g + Problems - Some required (by libAfterImage/ROOT) libraries are  missing on lxbuild135 (e.g. libpng and libjpeg) ================================================== Jakob Blomer from my side just about how to proceed with the CernVM machine for testing nightlies.  If we don't hear anything from IT, we might consider to setup our own host, preferably running a recent rPath Linux with KVM support. Since we changed the way of creating repositories, this part of the scripts has to be changed.  Currently we have scripts to create repositories in the outdated format on the built nodes.  Instead, I propose to create another release manager machine (like the sft one) and to rSync the built tree with a directory on that machine. ================================================== Stefan Roiser + Actions done - Fixing a problem in LCGCMT while creating symlinks for the Atlas InstallArea, this was causing problems with the nightly builds - Fixing a problem with nightly builds on Mac OSX. I.e. the nighties build partition was in a bad state creating linker problems. - Created doxygen information for all AA projects of the LCG 58 release - New installation of opengrok source code cross referencing for the last 3 AA software release series at cern.ch/lcgsoft. + Problems - Working on a "stripped" version of the gcc 4.3.2 compiler suite, removing all debug symbols from the libraries. Problems found when running the compiler in some situations (too many symbols removed).
