We present results for $\eta$ and $\eta^\prime$ masses and their four independent decay constants, determined directly from the axialvector channels.
We perform our analysis on the CLS 2+1 flavour ensembles, from pion masses of 420 MeV down to the physical mass point. Four lattice spacings and two distinct mass trajectories allow to take the continuum limit and chiral interpolation with care,...

We explore the topological properties of lattices without cooling through measurements of the zero modes of the domain wall operator. We investigate the eigenvalue spectrum and the space-time properties of the zero modes. We study the relationship between the zero modes and the $\eta’$ mass.
