Challenge Based Innovation (CBI) is a project course, where multidisciplinary student teams and their instructors collaborate with researchers at CERN to discover novel solutions for the future of humankind. The projects are an elaborate mixture, where societal, human-driven needs meet research at CERN.

In CBI PS (Pablo's Special), students and faculty from INIZIA (Basque University UPV-EHU and BIC Araba in Spain) and Tampere University of Technology work in teams to explore methods in disruptive experimental innovation. For more information, please contact: pablo.garcia.tello@cern.ch

In CBI-ER, students from University of BolognaUniversity of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and University of Ferrara (Italy) work in teams to create and prototype ideas for sustainable future. For more information, please contact: harri.toivonen@cern.ch
