The workshop takes place at the MIAPP building opposite the buildings of the Excellence Cluster Universe at Garching Science Center.
Travel by public transport
- From Munich city
The campus Garching is directly served by subway U6 to final destination “Garching-Forschungszentrum”, the trip takes about 25 minutes
- From Munich airport
You reach us with suburban train S8 to "Marienplatz". At stop "Marienplatz", please change to underground train U6 to “Garching-Forschungszentrum”.
Another, but limited possiblity is with suburban train S1 to "Neufahrn" and then by bus 690 to "Garching-Forschungszentrum".
ATTENTION:
We strongly recommend to check the time schedule in advance and ask you not to get on bus 690 to "Eching" at Stop "Neufahrn".
Travel by car
Garching Science Center can be reached by the highway “A9”. The campus is located right at the exit 70 “Garching-Nord”, please follow the signs to “Forschungszentrum”.
Onsite, parking spaces are available opposite the subway station. The price is 0,50 €/day.
