    By posting preprints authors can help promote openness and transparency and reduce research waste from duplicated efforts and non-reporting. However, there are concerns about providing public access to preliminary clinical research for fear of causing harm. We believe that medRxiv, a new preprint server for the health sciences, will provide a valuable service to the clinical research community...
