Giovanni builds bridges between the worlds of research and industry, maximizing the impact that science and technology can have on society.
Nuclear Engineer, Global Shaper, Entrepreneur, he is convinced that by empowering people and bringing them together we can address every issue, and solve them.
After having studied at Polytechnic Universities of Turin and Milan, Alta Scuola Politecnica, and KTH Stockholm, Giovanni worked in nuclear research at CEA Cadarache, France, before moving to CERN, Geneva, to develop new generations of particle accelerators for cancer treatment. Then he became a Knowledge Transfer Officer in Medical Application at CERN, bringing physics technologies and know-how to hospitals and industry. Now he is investigating how to guarantee access to essential health technologies to everyone, and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable world.
