Costs for an accompanying person staying in the same room are approximately 270,- Euros. These amounts are to be paid directly to the hotel during the stay. Arriving to Torino:

By plane:

The airport of Torino is Caselle. There will be a shuttle bus going directly from Caselle at 13:30 on the 19.04.22 (we'll wait for the flight from Frankfurt). If you arrive early (or late), the airport is situated about 50 minutes from the city center, with regular busses (e.g. Sadem).

An alternative with many more international connections is Milano Malpensa airport. From there, you have (less frequent) buses to Torino main station (Porta Susa, click here to buy tickets). Alternatively, you can go to Milano main station and take a train from there, but it takes about the same time and is more expensive. The shuttle bus to Barolo will also stop at Porta Susa at 14:00.

By train:

If you're coming by train, you should stop at Torino's main station, Porta Susa, where the shuttle bus to Barolo will stop at 14:00. For trains within Italy, see the sites of TrenItalia and .italo.

Getting to Barolo:

Barolo is a very small town and not well connected by public transport. If you arrive late or want to leave early, the best option is to go via Bra or Alba, using a taxi to connect with Barolo. The train connections between Bra/Alba and Torino Porta Susa are reasonable (~1h-1:20h).

Getting back:

The bus on the way back is foreseen to have the following schedule:

23.04.22, 11:00 Barolo
23.04.22, 12:00 Torino, Porta Susa
23.04.22, 12:45 Torino Airport (Caselle)

CoVid tests and regulations:

CoVid (rapid) tests can be done at a pharmacy about 3km away or at the airport. You find the up-to-date regulations for Italy here:
