Description
In February 2019 an exhibition called QUANTICA was inaugurated in the Contemporary Culture Centre in Barcelona (CCCB) in collaboration with Arts@CERN. More than 80.000 people have visited the exhibition in 6 months. The Institut de Física d'Altes Energies (IFAE) collaborated with the development of the exhibition and the satellite activities that were offered. The presentation will focus on the experience of developing an interactive installation about particle physics for the exhibition in collaboration with an artist. And also on the lessons learned in the outreach workshops offered in the context of the exhibition. Both experiences made us rethink our approach to outreach in order to adapt to new publics and environments.
