"The Contribution of the University to the Building of the European Soul".

Europe, crossroads of peoples and cultures, Europe a space of freedom and encounter, Europe that has always been able to create places and structures that respond to the real needs of man and society: see the birth of universities and hospitals.

Some politicians of good will decided, after World War II, to rebuild a new Europe that would still become a space for meeting and freedom for European men and nations.

The existence of Europe to be faithful to the idea of the founding fathers must serve to create and guarantee that space of freedom in which we can meet the different answers of meaning. The university has always been (even in the dramatic historical vicissitudes) and still is a place of freedom and encounter.

In this conference, we would like to present experiences of facts present in European universities, which are an expression of this, questioning representatives of the university world from different European "regions" (north and south, east and west).

The visit spans 3 days: Friday 7th - Sunday 9th February 2020.
