Travel
Entry in France requires several conditions concerning vaccination/recovery status/test, etc... As usual, please inquire before traveling.
Once in France:
In France, at present (June 25, 2022), COVID restrictions are relatively light. However the rules may evolve, depending on the evolution of the new variants.
Masks and proofs of vaccination/recovery
- are no more required in most public and private places such as public transportation, universities, shops, bars, restaurants, gyms...
- Some exceptions apply though. For instance, mask is usually required for visiting medical institutions (Medical Doctors, pharmacies, etc.). Visiting a hospital (except in case of emergency admission) requires -in addition- an EU COVID pass or equivalent...
Since the rules can change depending on the evolution of the situation (and since the list above is not complete) please use the updated COVID-related rules that can be found on official websites.
In case of symptoms, positive self-test, or contact with a positive person, etc., the current rules are (in French - and google-translated):

Notes:
- In case of a positive test, the self-isolation duration is 7 days for fully vaccinated people (at present, June 26, 2022).
- In case of a positive self-test, you have to confirm it by another test at an official institution (e.g., a pharmacy). This will start the official workflow, and will give you all the necessary guidelines (by phone/SMS/email), including the final recovery certificate.
