Call for poster abstracts

  • Opening day
  • Submission deadline

Abstract submissions with proposals for theory and experimental posters are invited.
Besides posters from LHC collaborations we encourage posters from other experiments, including from experiments not at accelerators, but carrying out research relevant for LHC particle physics, and from theoreticians. Participants from experimental collaborations intending to present a poster should upload their abstracts as soon as they are approved by the respective collaborations.

The deadline for submission of abstracts for posters contributions is 19th April 2021.

Notification of the acceptance of a poster contribution will be sent by e-mail no later than 26th April 2021

Posters contributions will be included in the proceedings.

Prizes for the top posters will be awarded.

Format of poster sessions

LHCP2021 will host two poster sessions. The format will be adapted to the requirements of an online conference, with the poster made available on the Indico pages well before the actual poster sessions that will be entirely dedicated to discussion between authors and participants.

Material for each poster should be posted on the Indico pages of the conference by the start of the conference (Mon, June 7, 2021, at 12:00 CEST). For easier representation on a computer screen, the contents of the poster should be presented on 3-4 pages in landscape format. Optionally, a short explanation of the contents by the author can be added in form of a video of a maximum length of 3 minutes .

The two poster sessions will be arranged at different times of the day in order to cover the widest possible range of time zones: once after the talks of the day (Thu, June 10, 18:45-19:45 CEST) , and once before the talks (Fri, June 11, 10:00-11:00). Authors will be expected to be available during at least one of the two sessions in order to reply to questions via video connection, and will be asked to indicate their choices in advance (the exact technical details will be announced later).

The call for abstracts is closed.
