To participate in the event you need to be able to use zoom. Zoom can be used in a web browser, but it is often better to install it. Note that you don’t need a licence, since the host will have one. When you sign in to the event, please use your full name in Zoom.
The hands-on sessions will use a number of standard ML tools, and to fruitfully participate in the exercise sessions, you need to ensure that you have the following running on your system before the school starts.
For the hands-on sessions by Mattias Ohlsson and Najmeh Abiri you need:
-
Python 3.6 or higher
-
Jupyter (A Python pip installation is available, in simple cases, just run: "pip install jupyter". Make sure the "pip" command refers to the pip of the python version you want to use.)
-
TensorFlow 2 (As above, in simple cases, just run: "pip install tensorflow". )
-
One or two days in advance, Mattias and Najmeh will provide a Jupyter-notebook file and a zipped dataset
For the hands-on sessions by Niclas Danielsson you need:
-
Google's Colab, which has everything in the cloud (essentially a Jupyter Notebook in a browser).
-
Preferably google Chrome (not Explorer or Edge)
-
A google account (if you have gmail, you also have access to Google Drive and Colab, which is enough).
