There will be two Poster Sessions, one on Tuesday 14th December and the other on Wednesday 15th December, where you will be able to visit the posters by moving from one Zoom room to another one (like you would walk from poster to poster). Details below:
In order to give all workshop participants an idea of which posters will be presented, the poster presenters will also be able to present the contents of their poster in a 3 minute presentation (3-4 slides max) during one of two poster presentation sessions. This is not to explain the poster, but to convince the audience to visit you and your poster in a unique breakout zoom room (see below) during the actual poster session on the Friday afternoon.
We recommend that posters themselves are prepared in a landscape format which is better suited to fit within a computer screen, when you share it in your Zoom room.
We will use the new breakout rooms feature in Zoom where the main meeting can be split into multiple sub-meetings for the poster session. One such sub-meeting will be created for each poster being presented and participants will be able to go in and out of the sub-meetings as they like. This is a new feature of Zoom introduced from version 5.3 and above. For the poster session to take place without technical issues you are kindly asked to update Zoom to the latest version available.
