Abstract:

Magnetic quench antenna is a quench diagnosis instrument whose original concept is invented at CERN  in early 1990’s.

The idea is transferred to SSCL where the multipole quench antenna was developed. The talk presents the brief history of quench antenna and review various quench antennas.

The technical details of multipole type quench antenna is presented and various diagnoses examples not only quench but other magnetic phenomena will be presented.
