Description
I will discuss my recent work on formulating a Feynrules package for the SMEFT in the background field method. This allows for the use of automated tools like Feynarts and Formcalc to rapidly perform one loop calculations in the SMEFT. I will briefly touch on the application of these rules to the confirmation of the one loop SMEFT Ward Identities, and close by mentioning the long term goal of calculating the one loop effective action for the SMEFT.
