Description
I will present on two projects.
The first is a tool we have developed called $\texttt{SingularPhasespace}$. It is a phase space generator designed to explore how a given NLO simulation behaves in the singular limits of QCD.
The second is our recent restructuring of how $\texttt{MadGraph_aMC@NLO}$ evaluates matrix elements. This restructuring greatly reduces the number of times madevent must evaluate helicity spinors and wavefunctions, resulting in a speed increase of 50% for some complex processes. We have dubbed this technique helicity recycling.
