Virtual Tour CMS
Department of Physics, Post Graduate Govt. College for Girls, Sector - 11, Chandigarh is organizing a VIRTUAL LAB VISIT to CMS experiment (where the famous Higgs Boson discovery took place),CERN, Geneva, Switzerland at 12:30 pm on October 21, 2020. This virtual visit is live link from CMS experiment’s control room at CERN.
In this visit, students from courses Bachelor of Science (2nd and 3rd Year Honours Physics) and Masters of Science Physics will participate. Along with this 5 Physics faculty members* will also attend. We have invited our worthy Principal Prof. Dr. Anita Kaushal and heads of other Science Departments.
