Description

The Second Open Search Symposium was a three-day online event hosted by CERN that took place on October 12-14 2020.

Open search and openness are essential for the digital future in Europe. Learn more about the Open Search Foundation and get informed about topics related to open search in Europe. This meeting will summarize relevant topics discussed and sessions that occurred during the event.

Future plans of the Open Search Foundation will be explained together with working groups' mandates (Legal, Ethics, Applications, Awareness, Economy, Technology) and how you can join them to help the Open Search Foundation.

Solid project expert Michiel de Jong will attend this talk and contribute experience on how to make the project known and get funds for future development. Solid is not a european project, still its success in embarking effort from the community, in addition to Sir Tim Berners-Lee's aura, can teach us concrete dissemination actions, funds,  grants, policy makers, influencers... what else...
