REGISTRATION IS CLOSED
The LHC Performance Workshop (Chamonix 2012) will take place from 6 until 10 February 2012 in Hotel Les Aiglons in Chamonix.
Chamonix 2012 will review the operational progress made with protons and ions in 2011, as well as analyse the studies done during the machine development runs. Based on these results and the input from the experimental detectors, a strategy for operation in 2012 will be developed.
The work scheduled during the first long shutdown (LS1) will be reviewed as well as the actions needed to re-commission and operate the LHC for high energy, high luminosity running after LS1.
The longer term projects/studies, HL-LHC, LIU as well as LHeC will be reviewed.
