      Short prototype:

      Peter:

      • succeeded to connect straws to HV board
      • don't have FE board yet
      • 30 Ohm resistivity from HV board to HV board

      Tonio:

      • one side - first inserted the crimp tubes into the plugs, then inserted plugs into the straws
      • other side - first inserted plugs, then used a tool to insert the crimp tubes
      • diameters of crimp tube and plugs are OK

      Intermediate prototype:

      Long 124-straw prototype:

      Zuzana:

      • Investigation of Minitubes crimp tubes ongoing
      • a sample of a new 30um Toshiba wire given to Stefano to verify coating

      Hans:

      • aluminium tube for the supporting tube delivered to CERN, we are waiting for measurements
      • calculation of HV board bending:
        • PCB is anisotropic, flexural rigidity depends on the material, layers, ...
        • a simple FR4 board used in the calculation
        • at least one support point needed for both 1.6 mm and 2.4 mm thick boards
        • worst case: no support, 1.6 mm thick board - 1.5 mm deflection
        • best case: one support, 2.4 mm thick board - 80 um deflection

      Vincent:

      • updated drawings for the supporting tube, provided to the workshop
      • updated drawings for the flanges, need to finalize the groove and positioning - depends on the tube shape
      • added screws and pins for micropositioners and the protection parts
      • moved protection parts before micropositioners
      • will add a placeholder for a central screw on the HV board
      • discussed supports for gluing with Francois

      Michal:

      • Dubna straws (4pc) came damaged

      Tonio:

      • need to buy glue
      • glued end pieces

      Peter:

      • HV board design will be launched this week (no vaccum restrictions, 2.4mm thickness, one support in the center)
