The UA9 Collaboration organizes the Annual Workshop on Crystal Collimation with the support of CERN and of the Network ACCNET operating in the frame of FP7.

The goals are to discuss a collimation procedure assisted by bent crystals and suited for collimation during the high-luminosity phase of LHC and for new large colliders.

  • The first part of the meeting will be devoted to a critical review of the results obtained in the H8 line.
  • The second part will be devoted to discussed the result of collimation experiments in low energy accelerators, such as the SPS.
  • The third part will consist of discussions on the possible use of bent crystals in the LHC collimation system.
  • A fourth part will be devoted to present other applications of crystals and other methods of collimation in other laboratories.
