A welcome reception will be offered Monday evening in the heart of the USC. Representatives of the University will welcome the participants in the ¨Salon Noble ¨ of Fonseca. This magnificent building, dating from the 16th century, was the first headquarters of the University of Santiago de Compostela. A welcome cocktail will be served at the cloister of this building that belongs to Rectorate of USC.

Hostal Reis Católicos occupies a beautiful 15th century building next to the famous Santiago Cathedral in the central “Plaza del Obradoiro”. Built by the Catholic Monarchs to attend the sick pilgrims of the divine Santiago Apostol, it retains today many original elements of the building, such as vaulted ceilings, stone arches and tapestries that make an authentic mixture of history, art and tradition.
