Flash Presentation
Each job seeker will be responsible for preparing a short presentation (maximum 3 minutes long) covering their educational and career highlights, and the specific reasons as to why they are interested in the job being offered. Slides are optional but strongly recommended; in particular we suggest including a handful of pictures/plots to showcase previous research experience. Presentations have an upper limit of 4 slides. During Q&A, job seekers should be prepared to confidently answer any potential question regarding their presentation, just as it would happen during a job interview in academia.
Important
By enrolling in this event you commit to participate in the JMEv Spring 2022. This includes understanding that the time provided by recruiters is valuable, and that you will therefore actively participate in all the sessions you select, including the preparation and live pitch of a flash presentation. In addition, it is expected that job seekers prepare questions to be asked to the recruiter during the session. Last minute no shows or lack of online response will not be accepted.
Upon registration you will be asked to answer some questions. These should not take more than 5 minutes to complete.
