Post-conference update: we will indicate if any participants inform us of positive Covid tests after the conference, on this page.
On 9 August 2022 we were informed that a participant tested positive on 9 August 2022. The timing is ambiguous: the participant may have been infectious/infected at the conference, or in the days afterwards.
Given the increasing infection numbers Covid-19 remains a cause for concern. As such, we kindly ask you to please wear a mask during the talks. In addition, if possible we ask you to get tested or do a self test before your departure, upon arrival at the conference, and of course if you show any symptoms.
For these purposes we will provide masks and self-tests at the conference.
To conveniently do a test upon arrival, there is a test center available at Berlin Airport Terminal 1, a test should cost 3 euros. There is also a test center available near the central train station, we recommend calling to make sure it is open.
Unfortunately at the time of writing there is no test center available near the conference venue, the closest one being a half hour walk away. The test-center availability in Berlin is constantly evolving, your hotel should have up to date information and directions available.
