  Welcome drink at the BV Airone resort
   
• September 27 (Tuesday), 14.30 - 20.00 ca
  
  Option A - THE BYZANTINE OF ROSSANO AND THE CIVITA OF THE ALBANIANS
  
  Departure from the hotel at 14.30pm and arrival in Rossano, known as the "Ravenna of the South", due to the countless Byzantine testimonies. Guided tour of the diocesan museum where the famous "Codex Purpureus Rossanensis", an ancient manuscript dating back to the 5th-6th century, is kept. "Codex" is included by UNESCO among the 47 new documents of the International Memory of the World Register since 2015.
  Transfer to Civita, a delightful village of Albanian origin. Guided tour of the village, one of the most beautiful in Italy. 
  Then move to Spezzano Albanese: welcome by the Mayor, visit of the historic center and the theater, followed by an aperitif with local wine. 
  In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner.
  
  Option B - THE "MAGNA GRAECIA" OF SIBARI
  
  Departure from the hotel at 14.30 and arrival in Sibari for a guided tour of the archaeological area together with the museum. This area, topographically known as Sybaritid, saw the birth, development, expansion and then the decline of the great polis of Sybaris. 
  Then move to Spezzano Albanese: welcome by the Mayor, visit of the historic center and the theater, followed by an aperitif with local wine. 
  In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner.

  Social dinner in the Ducal castle of Corigliano Calabro.
