Description
Femtoscopic correlation measurements can serve important information on the spatio-temporal structure of the particle emitting source that is created in high energy nuclear collisions. Detailed investigation of the shape of the correlation functions revealed that the statistically acceptable assumption is not Gaussian nor Cauchy distribution but a more general: the Levy distribtuion. In my presentation I will give an overview of the recent results from SPS, RHIC and LHC energies in various systems and I will present some of the possible theoretical interpretation of them.
