Description
The latest field-programmable technology, with enhanced processing, storage and interface capacity, enables the development of powerful and flexible systems that can be customised for specific applications and operating conditions. This presentation describes recent field-programmable systems and tools which have been developed to optimise design quality and designer productivity, and illustrates their use in various application domains such as real-time data analysis, facilities for high-speed networks, and Monte Carlo simulation.
The issues addressed include: how to make the best of today's field-programmable technology, and what can we expect of tomorrow's field-programmable technology?
