Alberto Pace is director of the CERN School of Computing (CSC).
Kristina Gunne | CERN
Administrative Manager
Kristina is a member of the CERN IT Innovation section, and her main responsibility is the CERN openlab summer student programme and general office management. Since Kristina came to CERN in 1996, she has been involved in many outreach initiatives at CERN and in her home country Sweden. Previously, Kristina was part of the Project Office of the EGEE EC project with over 90 partners around the world, taking care of various aspects of the large project's administration and events management. Kristina joined the CSC team in the fall of 2022. In her spare time Kristina enjoys taking her e-bike for a ride in the mountains, traveling, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
Jarek Polok | CERN
Technical Manager
Jarek is member of CERN Computer Center Fabric group, working on Data Center Infrastructure Management and Hardware Commissioning.
He first joined CERN in 1994 as a summer student then returned as technical student then fellow and as a staff member.
Jarek has been working in the past on many projects including telephone callback system, mail server maintenance, LEP OPAL online experiment systems maintenance and user support, Network boot and installation service system, UNIX support, Drupal web content management system and Scientific Linux and CentOS development and support.
