BRIEF TRAVEL GUIDE TO LEROS
Located between Patmos and Kalymnos, Leros is a lesser known gem belonging to the Dodecanese island group in Greece. Although with a low profile in tourism, Leros boasts natural harbours, coves and inlets protected from the winds, beautiful sandy or pebbly beaches. Numerous monuments scattered all around the island are proof of its long history and according to the Greek mythology, this is where the huntress goddess Artemis would go for deer hunting.
