The conference will be held at King's College London, in the Strand Campus.
Traveling to King’s College London
By Train:
- From Charing Cross or Blackfriars station, it’s a lovely 10–15 min walk along the Thames or one stop on the District/Circle underground lines to Temple Station.
- From other London Terminals, see “Local Transport” section below.
Local Transport:
- On the District and Circle underground lines, exit at Temple Station (3 min walk)
- On the Piccadilly underground line, exit at Covent Garden Station (10 min walk)
- By Bus (various lines): Exit at Aldwych stop (1–3 min walk)
Please enter KCL through the main entrance to the Strand building.
During the Conference
Talks and coffee breaks will be held in the Great Hall in the Strand Building.

Lunch vouchers will be provided for each day, which can be used in any KCL food establishment. Above the Great Hall (Level 2 by lift, but at the top of the big stairs if by foot), Chapters sells sandwiches/salad bowls and cakes. In Bush House, South East Wing basement level (-1), King's Kitchen/King's Food has a variety of hot and cold lunch options.
The evening reception and poster session will be held on the 8th floor of Bush House, right across the road from the Strand Building.
The conference dinner will take place at Grand Connaught Rooms, 61 - 65 Great Queen Street, London, WC2B 5DA. (We’ll use their Cornwall and Crown Suite, on the 2nd floor.) This is about 700 m (10 min walk) from King’s College London.
