The workshop will take place as an in-person event at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. Access to the site is only possible for registered persons in possession of a Visitor Card. These will be arranged for all participants (details will be required for all participants). The participants should also have proof of identity when entering the CERN site.
The venue for the workshop is called "Idea Square" (https://ideasquare.cern), a custom-built space for holding workshops and events, including breakout rooms. Idea Square also has spaces containing prototyping equipment (3D printers, basic CNC machines, electronics workshops etc.) - but we will not be using these! And it has a double-decker London bus - that we will use as one of the breakout rooms.
The plenary sessions will be broadcast on Zoom. The breakout rooms are designed for in-person brainstorming etc. so will not be possible to use Zoom in these.
Breakfast and lunch will be offered by CERN in Idea Square on both days.
