Venue
The meeting will be held in the Faculty Room 106150 on the 6th floor in the Ångström Labortory of Uppsala University, street address Lägerhyddsvägen 1, Uppsala.
Accommodation
The local organizers have kindly pre-booked rooms at hotel Elite Academia, Suttungs Gränd 6, Uppsala, web site: https://www.hrs.com/en/hotel/elite-hotel-academia/a-875428/ at a reduced price of 1030 SEK (around 90€) per night, single room, breakfast included. To make reservations, please send an email to reservation.academia@elite.se. Those attending the meeting in person can benefit of this pre-booking and reduced rate by providing as booking code “TIARA” when reserving the room. The pre-booking is valid only up till 15 May, so you should make your reservation before that date.
Transportation
You should fly to the Stockholm/Arlanda airport, which is located 35 km from Uppsala. At the airport a train-ticket counter and a lift down to underground railway station are located in the SkyCity hall between terminals 4 and 5. Trains are leaving to Uppsala Central Station 4 times an hour. The ride takes 20 minutes and costs around 20€. It is also possible to take a taxi which costs about 60€. The Elite Hotel is located at the side of the Uppsala Central Station.
To travel the ca 2 km to the Ångström Laboratory in the morning of 16 June, take the bus number 4 which is leaving every 10-15 minutes from bus stop B4 at the Central Buss Station just in front of Elite Hotel, and get off after ca 8 minutes ride at the Polacksbacken bus stop in front of the Ångström Laboratory building. Enter the 6-stories-high part of the Laboratory building closest to the bus stop and walk to the reception at the ground floor, where we will gather and take the elevator to the meeting room 106150 at the 6th floor.
