UW Guest Housing
Being an A3D3 workshop participant, you are eligible for the UW on-campus accommodations through this registration service:

The Madrona Hall is a modern construction next to the workshop venue (Oak Hall Denny Room). Regardless single or double occupancy, the room layout is a Double room, with private bathroom, desk, and excellent wifi. The package rates (per person) are:
- $352.50 Double Occupancy - Private Bathroom
- $582.50 Single Occupancy - Private Bathroom
These rates include 5 nights of lodging (July 9 - July 14) and no meal service. There is no credit for shorter stays or unused dining funds or meal allotments. Also included is a nonrefundable Reservation Fee of $20.00 per person.
Early Arrivals and Late Departures will be accepted on a space-available basis for the nights of Saturday, July 8, Friday, July 14, and Saturday, July 15, 2023. The rates (per person) are:
- $76.50 per person, per night, double occupancy
- $122.50 per person, per night, single occupancy
The rates do not include meal service. There is no refund for canceled Late Departure nights after the reservation deadline date.
Reservations and full payment must be submitted no later than Friday, June 16. Reservations received after this date are charged a $25.00 Late Reservation Fee and are only processed on a space-available basis.

There are several hotels within 0.5 miles from the workshop venues. There is no special negotiated rate with these hotels.
- College Inn $175-$220/night
- University Inn $323~$400/night
- Watertown $358~$434/night
- The Residence In by Marriot $319-$339/night.
- Silver Cloud Inn $329-$359/night.
- Graduate Hotel $357~$415/night
AirBnB
You might find comfortable rooms or even boat house in the summer seashon. Make sure your institution will reimburse you for AirBnB. A number of places do not for insurance reasons. Pay attention on the additional cleaning and service rates. The total rates might not be more economic than hotels.
- Search for the dates and downtown and university area.
- North of the university is also possible, and accessible by bike (via the Burke-Gillman trail) as well as bus.
- If you are willing to deal with a fairly brutal schedule, you can stay on one of the islands and use the ferry to get back and forth. But be warned that is at least one hour communte each way. The ferries do have good wifi… And the islands are amazing, so this option might be attractive for some.
