Wellcome Sanger Institute is a world-leading genomics research institute that delivers insights into human, evolutionary and pathogen biology. The Institute was established in 1992 and was the largest contributor to the global collaborative endeavor to sequence the human genome, the first draft of which was completed in 2000. The Sanger Institute continues to undertake genome research at a scale that cannot easily be conducted elsewhere through its long-term research programmes.
The Wellcome Sanger Institute Archive is currently being set up with a mission to collect, preserve and make accessible evidence of the Institute's history and scientific milestones over the last 30 years.

EUROfusion is a consortium of 31 research centres and 162 affiliated entities (universities, laboratories, companies) from 26 European Union countries, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway working jointly to pave the way for nuclear fusion power reactors. The joint programme along the "European Roadmap to the Realisation of Fusion Energy" is funded under the EURATOM Horizon Europe framework programme.
