Description
The presentation explored the fundamentals of polymeric and composite materials, reviewing their structures to enhance understanding of their properties and performance. It provided an overview of their classifications, strengths, and limitations to aid in selecting the most suitable materials for the different applications. Additionally, relevant examples of their use in the CERN particle accelerator complex were discussed.
