Description

The CERN Accelerator School was founded in 1983 to maintain and share knowledge about particle accelerators and colliders gathered from CERN and other sources. Since then, it has hosted numerous courses covering general accelerator physics and specific topics in the field. This year marks our 40th anniversary, and we invite you to join us in celebrating this milestone.

Collaboration among institutes has been a central part of CAS courses.
The school has been very fortunate to have dedicated lecturers who have continuously worked towards spreading knowledge of accelerator science.

CAS lecturers form an open community, and we are proud to have a growing number of lecturers from other institutes. Their contribution to the school is significant and highly appreciated. That is why we wanted to thank lecturers who have been strongly involved with CAS during the last years.
