General regulations applicable to the pressure equipment (Cavity, Helium vessel & Cryostat) both for SM18 RF tests and SPS beam tests will be reviewed. Based on the European directives, general specifications pertaining to the LHC crab cavities are outlined. Aspects of safety, material for different elements and properties are discussed to comply with the CERN infrastructure and regulations.
