Joint-session with the LHC Top WG
There will be a joint session with LHC Top WG on Wednesday afternoon, please access the LHC Top WG Meeting Indico (and associated Zoom room) for this.
CERN access
During registration you will be asked if you need a CERN access card - if you select yes, you may be immediately asked to fill in some additional details (or alternatively sent an e-mail in the following days asking for the same information). We will then grant access which will generate an Access Card which you should print out and bring with you to show to the staff at the front gate.
If you are unble to print your pass, you can use the provided access code on a small machine at the front gate to print your pass on the day.
CERN accommodation
For those who wish to book accommodation at the CERN hostel but are not CERN users, please fill in the form here:
CERN Hostel Booking - External
As part of the form you will be asked to name a guarantor for your stay, please put down either of:
- Greg Ciezarek (gregory.max.ciezarek@NOSPAMcern.ch)
- Jacob Julian Kempster (jacob.julian.kempster@NOSPAMcern.ch)
- Michelangelo Mangano (michelangelo.mangano@NOSPAMcern.ch)
(Removing 'NOSPAM' from the e-mail!)
If you have no current affliation to CERN, your CERN status will likely be "External CONF" for the hostel booking form.

Two-loop RGEs from geometry
RGE calculations in EFTs can carried out efficiently in a geometric picture, where field redefinitions are just coordinate changes. Building on an old method introduced by ’t Hooft in 1973, we extend the geometric formulation for scalar theories to the two-loop order and derive the counterterms which renormalize the theory at two loops. As applications of our results, we derive the two-loop counterterms and RGE for the O(n) EFT to dimension six, the scalar sector of the SMEFT to dimension six, and chiral perturbation theory to order $p^6$.
