Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of CERN, the 35th EPPCN meeting will take place in Lisboa, Portugal.
You are all very welcome in Lisboa!
For the night of June 3rd (3 to 4 June), we have pre-reserved 15 single rooms at "Hotel Alif Campo Pequeno" (3*), at the special rate of 88 € /night/room (breakfast and all taxes included; 114 €/night for twin rooms-2 people). Reservation by e-mail to campopequeno@alifhotels.com, reservation code required (after registration or send me an e-mail). It is an hotel close to a metro station ("Campo Pequeno" on the yellow line), and at a 20 mins. walk from the meeting place. Reservations required before the end of next May 16th (or until all rooms are booked) and payment needed in full before the end of May 16th.
Many other hotels close(r) to the meeting place might have availability, namely Hotel NH Lisboa Campo Grande (4*), Hotel MASA Campo Grande (4*), VIP Executive Entrecampos (4*). At nearly the same distance of Hotel Alif there are also the 5* Grand Lisboa Hotel&Spa and the VIP Inn Berna Hotel (3*), VIP Executive Zurique (3*) and others. The earliest booking is strongly recommended (at your favorite hotel booking site).
Beware of the climate (check some days before)! It might be hot...
