Introductory astrostatistics, visualization and ML tools school for the PhD students from the MWGaiaDN network. The school is also open to a limited number of participants from outside the network.
The school programme consists of:
- Lectures on:
- statistical analysis and interpretation of astronomical data
- machine learning tools and data mining for astronomy
- large scale analytics and visualization
- Tutorials on using Gaia data with the presented tools
- One day dedicated to short scientific projects with expert help available.
