      • Will look into getting better resistors for current source
      • Check with production companies:
        • If basic PCB electrical test is included
        • To make sure that they reajust the layer stack to match impendances
        • Could eventually request more specific functional testing. But cost will drastically increase.
      • Safiral and SoftCom state that production can only start if the order is fully payed. Need to check with production companies and purchasing office how to solve the situation.
      • Request quotation for 31 pieces + how many board per panel

Proposed short-term (2024-2026) research goals for DRD3-WG5 on characterisation techniques, facilities:

      - Extension of the TPA-TCT to wide-band semiconductor characterization (SiC & Diamond) & use of spatial light modulation for optimization of the spatial resolution

      - Upgrade Caribou DAQ hardware, firmware and software to advanced Ultrascale+ FPGA platform.

      - Efficient exploitation of common infrastructure (such as TPA-TCT and Caribou): Promoting awareness within the community during the DRD3 workshops, dedicated showcase of use and subsidizing access fees or providing grants for specific projects

      -  Organizing mini-workshops for training on the use of characterization techniques and DAQ tools
