Description
We report on the development of a state-of-the-art framework, the J-PHASE Generator with SUBA-Jet, which simulates partons and hadrons originating from hard scattering together with the evolution of the QGP and the hadronic phase, including the mutual interactions between the jet and the bulk medium and hadrons. The construction of the time-like parton shower and medium-induced radiative energy loss has been presented in Ref. [1]. In this contribution, we:
- Introduce a complete LO calculation of collisional energy loss.
- Benchmark the framework against a variety of jet observables in and PbPb and $pp$ collisions at the LHC energies.
- Investigate modifications of the jet originating from both QGP and hadronic phases within the complete framework.
The J-PHASE Generator with SUBA-Jet incorporates PYTHIA for the jet initial state and hadronization, T$_{\rm R}$ENTo-3D for the medium initial state, vHLLE second-order hydrodynamics, SMASH-hadron-sampler for particlization, and SMASH for the evolution of the hadronic phase of both bulk and jet hadrons.
