Description

The Open Quantum System (OQS) framework offers a method for calculating quarkonium observables during and after its propagation through a medium, under a fully quantum description. The QTRAJ code efficiently simulates the propagation of quarkonium in a medium when the latter sees quarkonium as a small color dipole $rT \ll 1$. While this limit is accurate for $\Upsilon(1S)$, its applicability to other quarkonium states is unclear. In this talk, we present a generalization of this code that incorporates the regime where $rT \sim 1$ in the one-gluon exchange approximation. We will outline the updates in the algorithm required to go from QTRAJ 1.0 to 1.1 and then we will show predictions for observables such as the nuclear modification factor as a function of $N_{part}$ or $p_T$.
