Description
The sPHENIX collaboration accumulated 75 $pb^{-1}$ of p+p data in 2024 during the TPC commissioning period. We are developing a novel track reconstruction method based on high-precision silicon vertexing detectors and calorimeters with the goal of pursuing measurements of $J/\psi$ production through its di-electron decay channel using the TPC commissioning dataset.
In this poster, we describe the track reconstruction method under development and report the current status of analyses using p–p collision data and simulations.
