Description
Jet quenching, the energy loss and modification of high-energy partons as they traverse a hot and dense medium, serves as a probe of the properties of the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP). While jet quenching has been observed in large systems, OO collisions provide an intermediate system, bridging the gap between pp and Pb-Pb collisions. This allows quantitative studies of the onset of jet quenching effects and its dependence on system size. In this poster, we present studies of jet reconstruction performance and background subtraction in OO collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.36 TeV. These studies constitute an essential step towards the measurement of the nuclear modification factor of inclusive jets in OO collisions, aiming at establishing potential jet-quenching signals in light-ion collisions.
