Description
In this talk I will discuss the impact of perturbative improvements, i.e., resummations and renormalon subtraction, in the lattice QCD calculation of PDFs. I will compare the large-momentum effective theory (LaMET) and short-distance factorization (SDF) approaches, which can provide model-independent estimates of the PDF $x$-dependence and lowest Mellin moments, respectively. The leading renormalon subtraction is important for improving the perturbative convergence of LaMET, while the resummations can provide a quantitative way to estimate the theory uncertainties in both approaches.
