Description
Discrete variations in modeling choices represent a common source of systematic error in extracting physics results from data, particularly in analysis of lattice simulations. Model averaging allows for the accounting of such systematic effects in a statistically consistent way. I will review the formalism of model averaging from a Bayesian perspective, and highlight key formulas and applications to lattice gauge theory.
