58 Boulevard Charles Livon, 13007 Marseille

Marseille is well connected to the French high-speed train network (TGV) with regular direct links to Paris, Lyon, Nice and their respective airports. There also exist direct daily train connections to Madrid, Barcelona, Brussels and Frankfurt.
The Marseille-Provence airport also offers a wide selection of flights to major European destinations.

How to get to the conference venue:

The closest metro station to the conference venue is Vieux Port (line M1).

Reaching the venue from the Vieux Port (metro M1):

Bus 82, 82S or 83, until the stop "Le Pharo": 7 minutes + 2 minutes walk, or simply 25 minutes walking (1.5 km). At the bus stop, enter the garden (Parc Émile Duclaux) through the gate; follow the main road that turns slightly left. After the turn, find the second building situated on your left (building/bâtiment A).

From the train station (gare Marseille St Charles):

Bus 82S is direct; but it is much faster to take the metro M1 to Vieux Port and follow the instructions above. The metro station is located underneath the train station (follow the "M1" signs).

Please note that it is possible to pay by credit card in the public transport of Marseille, using validators located directly inside each bus/tram or at the entrance to metro stations. It is also possible to buy tickets (single or multiple) charged on a transport card. There is a small extra fee for issuing the card, but it is rechargable afterwards: use it wisely.

From the Marseille airport:

Take the airport shuttle bus to the main train station (gare Marseille St Charles), then follow the instructions above.
